Opportunity To Play Tennis In College

This just came in across my desk and I wanted to share this great opportunity to play in front of 15 tennis coaches and for the Seniors to then be able to meet the coaches.

Old Dominion University in Norfolk will be hosting a tennis tournament and opportunity to meet with coaches on November 14, register by Nov  5. The event will include both boys and girls singles.

This is NOT just for High Performance or Nationally Ranked players.  Many of the schools are Division III schools and are just looking for  players who love to play tennis and want to be on a college tennis team as an overall part of their college experience!

AGENDA:

  • Matches: 12 – 4 pm
  • Following Match Play, Juniors and younger players will have the opportunity to visit the Junior Showcase tables and browse information on the colleges and universities.
  • Seniors may visit with the college and university coaches in the College Showcase room, 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm

PARENTS – attend the parent guidance seminar, 1:00 to 3:30. Tennis experts will answer your questions and help navigate the paths to college tennis. Mark Guilbeau, Head Women’s Coach at University of  Virginia will speak with parents and answer questions concerning college tennis. Don’t miss it!
